| I used this service with great success. I was sceptical at the beginning, as it seemed a "too good to be true" solution. But it worked perfectly. Please follow the enclosed instructions very carefully, as you only get one chance per £25! but my model worked straight away although my player kept asking me to change my TV settings to NTSC the first few times, not a problem in itself, as the player still played all my discs, but overnight the player became self switching? bonus! So now totally self switching. I am now able to play all my regional discs using my Panasonic dvd recorder via a HDMI cable to a plasma display upscaling to 720dpi on a 42" screen. Marvellous:-)
A wise postage choice to send it back is by recorded delivery (signed for) as you can tell when the package was returned via the royal mail internet site for peace of mind (and avoiding extra charges) |

Just a 'satisfied customer' comment for you to use on your website if you wish.
When my three year old high spec Panasonic multi region portable dvd player decided to stop working I was unable to get help from anywhere until I came across your website. Four seperate local Panasonic technical support agents couldn't help and all that Panasonic's own customer care ( sic. ) helpline could come up with was a suggestion that I could send them £42 + vat just "to look at it" together with a discouraging warning that any possible repair "would probably be VERY expensive indeed".
You took the time to listen to my problem on the phone and less than a week later I have my player back and working perfectly. To think that I was on the brink of binning it! Your charge was very reasonable as well.

| These guys are GREAT!!! Found the website address by chance... But boy am I glad I did! Andrew was a great help. After many conversations with him, and me trying 40 different Region 1 disks on my new (supposedly multi-region) Sony machine to find only two worked, he figured out that the two that did play were actually Region 0 and the machine hadn't been chipped in the first place.

I'm writing to thankyou for what i consider to be one of the few on-line services I have used that boasts great customer service, speed and delivers what it promises. On searching the web for a solution to make my DVD player multi-regional, I came across your site that promised to do the job. Although I could'nt find my model at first, I contacted the guys over the phone & was assited in finding my DVD player on their site. After a freindly chat, I completed the on-line order form on the Monday afternoon & as promised recieved the the self service remote the next day on the Tuesday morning. After following the simple instructions, my DVD was converted to an all round multi-regional player in seconds. Unbeliveable!
The majority of other websites that promise a similar services, are costly, timeley & require the user to use all sorts of gadgets, PDA's and gizmo's to complete the task, & to be honest this put me off no end.
Multi-region.co.uk is the only choice if your wanting a simple and cost efficeint conversion for your DVD player. Its great, easy to use & in my opinion is the only one stop shop that cant be beaten.

| Dear multi-region.co.uk,
Having ordered the complete first series of "Lost" from US-based Amazon.com, I received my 7 DVD set last week. Unfortunately, my JVC DVD player refused to play any of the discs displaying "region code error" instead.
Having trawled the internet last Wednesday evening, many businesses offered "firmware upgrade discs" which promised to change my DVD player to unrestricted as opposed to the current "region 2 only" status.
I discovered around half a dozen businesses offering such a disc for around £20 all in.
Whilst I consider myself a more advanced technological user (having enjoyed buying, using and reading about new hi-tech products) the idea of simply inserting a "firmware disc" sounded somewhat "too easy" although I eventually concluded £19.99 wasn't a great deal to lose. Additionally, I must confess to being slightly sceptical as to the actual existence of a company that offered such services.
With the order placed on Wednesday evening, I was somewhat surprised to receive my disc Saturday morning. I was even more surprised to find the procedure took under a minute, involved next to no effort and, best of all, actually worked.
My JVC DVD player will now play DVDs from any region and there's been no adverse affect to the player's workings.
I must therefore apologise for being so sceptical and also thank you for your extremely prompt service of a product which actually works.
I've already watched all 7 DVDs of "Lost"!!!
I will certainly recommend you to friends and colleagues should they have a similar requirement to I.
