Electrisave Wireless Smart Meter

£61.49
Electrisave Wireless Smart Meter

The original and award winning Electrisave wireless electricity monitor. Portable and easy to read. With an Electrisave, you'll quickly learn how to reduce your overall electricity usage and reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions. As seen on countless TV programmes.

The Electrisave helps you learn how to make small changes in your electricity usage which can add up to big savings in your annual electricity bill. The easy to read wireless display unit is fed via a simple to fit transmitter which clips around your electricity supply. You set up the Electrisave by telling it how much your electricity supplier charges per kilowatt hour from your most recent bill.

We all know that leaving electrical appliances in ‘standby’ wastes electricity, but exactly how much does this really cost?

The Electrisave will show you. It continuously displays how much you are spending on electricity in pence per hour, a bit like the way a car's trip computer can show your MPG. Using this information you can work through the appliances in your home and immediately see the reduction in consumption as you switch each one off.

You'll be amazed at how easy it is to reduce your cost per hour, making big savings in your electricity bills and a consequent reduction in your carbon footprint.

During field trials in the product development phase, some users reportedly achieved savings of an impressive 25%.
The objective is to reduce your ‘base level’ electricity consumption, which is the amount you are using at night when the household is sleeping and also perhaps during the daytime when the home may be unoccupied.
The Electrisave may reveal some startling information about running costs of your 24/7 appliances like fridge/freezers, pond pumps and all those smaller items powered by DC mains adaptors. For example, a faulty or out-dated inefficient fridge could be wasting over £100 per year, so replacing it with a new low energy rated model could pay for itself within a few years.
